Change the SetMaxDamageDistance parameter in the HP (scripts/ships/hardpoints) to a higher number.

eg. 60 to 150 or something.

This effectively increases the weapons range.

Yeah, it seems that my larger pics arn't showing though and when I go on photobucket I can see them fine.

you should also know photobucket has a monthly data cap for people who hotlink imgs.
