as I see it they seemed to start off as BSG with Star Gate Elements. I kinda like the story elements but I'm severely dissappointed by the lack of "star gateness" Although the sand creature stealing their water was a decent star gate like episode and so was the one about everyone being sick and using the time travel through the gate part. Those were worthy gate episodes, but the whole stone comunitcator kinda takes away, I liked it more where they had no communication, or limited. And I don't like how everyone has a agenda and planing against each other, very unlike SG to do. While SGA felt like more of the same, but eventually came into its own, I got a feeling SGU will to. I think with these 10 "pilot" episodes they are hopefully listening to the fans and taking suggestions.

As with the sex stuff, more than possible in the situation, we don't if Chloe and Scott had a previous relationship, they kinda hinted at it. But either way she may be falling hard for someone because her dad just died in front of her and it maybe how shes dealing with it.

Just under a month until the apparent return!  :dance

Psycho put it well imo, the show needs some time to properly come into its own, but I'm still more than entertained by it.

I just saw a advertisment for the new episodes coming up, looks like a enemy if finally popping up. I guess their going to explain what that pod was that left the ship and see some Destiny kicking some butt. I just hope these bad guys can't talk engish, I'll be very disappointed, thats one thing that always bothered me about SGA and SG1 after like the 2nd or 3rd season

Honestly you know what I want to see in a SG show, one that focuses on a Daedalous (sp?) class ship doing its thing. It could be a nice ST/SG combo show. I mean you stil have the alliance as a enemy, some Guald that still have influence, and other alien races. I would think it would be pretty neat

Don't watch this trailer if you don't want to be spoiled.

Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't that Telford in the 2nd half of the trailer? Onboard Destiny? He also looked injured, but... how is that possible? Side-effects of the communication stones, or has he somehow managed to gate aboard Destiny from the Milky Way?

While i'm technically not warmed-up to the series yet, this trailer does look promising. Some truly "alien" aliens, gate travel, mysteries etc.

Given that there was a BC-304 (The Hammond perhaps?) and F302's, I think perhaps a ZPM powered 304 might have been sent after Destiny. Remember, it only took 2 or 3 days for the ZPM powered Daedalus to get to to Pegasus. That's perhaps a few weeks to get out as far as the Destiny.

You have a point. Thou, if a ZPM Powered Daedalus managed to catch up with Destiny, would they not evacuate everyone from the ship over to the Daedalus, and the series would end?

Not if they came under attack and were destroyed/forced to retreat before they could. You saw an attack happening and the warning from Telford.

Or perhaps it's just a 1 episode guest role. You can't tell anything from the 2 seconds he's on screen.

Daniel Jackson will be back for 2 episodes during the back half of season 1. One of the episodes, takes place partially inside Rush's mind (likely a flashback to where/when he was recruited by Dr Jackson into the Stargate program).

Epic! Nothing about that displeases me. Well.. Except for the airing date, of course.  :mad

Yeah! Why the long break?

America. :P

And no wonder so many other American-produced programs are going bust, they have so many breaks inbetween episodes that people can't be bothered to stick with it.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Not really, its because the show is run by BSG makers cause I never remember SG ever taking a break midseason, but I remember BSG doing that. Honestly I don't think its a bad thing to take a break mid season, but not this long of a break, this is just stupid

What "BSG makers" are you referring to? Ron Moore has absolutely ZERO involvement with anything regarding Stargate.

Pretty much all tv-shows have a mid-season break that lasts between 1-4 months.

All US TV shows maybe. We rarely do that over here. There might occasionally be missed weeks, but in general, a series runs continuously.
