It would be helpfull to state your problem with this. Since all the instructions are in the example plugins (scripts/Custom/Autoload/Mvam/MvamPrometheus.py and scripts/Custom/Autoload/Mvam/MvamGalaxy.py).
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

The name of the plugin under scripts/Custom/Autoload/Mvam ought to be the same as the ship file (as in under scripts/ships/) of the total ship.

Use the fTech stuff for movable wings instead of MVAM would be my suggestion... MVAM is only good for ships that actually separate, whereas fTech (used on the LC Intrepid) is good for movable parts such as wings.

More complicated than thinking out every aspect of it, where to place the camera, how fast the ships need to go, how long will the cutscene be?

I do admit, it may seem daunting, but FTech usually is just a bunch of key->value pairs.
And then sometimes with additional sub key->value pairs.

Did you follow all the instructions?
Especially about the naming?
And remember, Python is case sensitive.

Mleo is. right. Even if a letter is a small letter instead of a capital one (or reversed) in a code, the code won't work.
