Well at the rate this pack is going, it shouldn't be that long. It's the hp'in n testing that takes the longest.

As for animated gifs try using Adobe ImageReady, that what i use when i want an animated gif doing quickly lol.

Well hopefullly the next pics you should all see if YOH Voyager with the charring darker like the screencap, the kazon fighter and the maquis raider :D

finger crossed i dont take the year off :P

As promised i've redone the burn and scorch marks on the hull and made them a lot darker like in the screencaps. And just to make darkthunder happy lol o/j ive turned on the lights on the 2 windows, aft of the bridge. I think overall it does look better. The ftech nacelles are also done so all that this ship needs is a hp to match the damage lol

EXCELLENT!

I couldn't say it better, absolut awsome job!

For the arming I would suggest to stay cannon, I don't remember exactly, but at this time
i think the voyager had got 6 photon torpedos and otherwise nothing :D

Didn't they just drop like mines? I recall the launchers being offline. Otherwise, she had no phasers, no shields (or minimal)... she was falling apart at the seams... but like the stubborn girl she was, she always held in there 'till the bitter end. 8)

So yeah, anyways... 6 photons. Not sure what to say for the launchers, as I'm almost sure they're offline at that point... haven't seen that ep. in a long time, though.

they used the photon torpedoes like mines in the middle somewhere, I remember that for the final fight, and i think that was the horrible damaged version, the voyager fires 4 torpedoes or something like that, just front.

No shields aren't completly correct, they had the temporal shield aught, but well, I can't say it 100%, normally
I'm no big voyager fan, but I liked that episode, because the voyager had got no chance against the others  :D

Well when it comes down to hp'in the ships, im going to watch every ep again to find out armaments, sfx to make sure they are all canon as possible, so don't worry about that at the moment. ;)

Right after recieving feedback of the YOH off the potd ive decided to alter the deck 9 damage. basically ive just been messing around with the colours to match most of the screencaps & also add some barley visible decks to enhance it. IT's hard to see in the bc screenshot so ive taken one in nifskope.

Anyway what do people think?

Thank you for fixing that.  :D That was one thing that was worrying about on the model.  I did that same thing for the other sections(barely visile decks that is).  Very good!

Just a little update on 2 things. First off i just made the deck 9 breach a tad brighter and deleted that purply glow at the end of the breach, then added along with some variation in burn colour, with the decks still visible. i think i can say now the YOH Voyager is done. The next thing on the list is the Maquis raider. I've start on the cockpit, but there are still some stuff which still needs finishing off on there. anyway pics :D

Enjoy

GREAT start on the raider!
I have a suggestion, only a suggestion, when you do the raider's textures... perhaps you could dirty it up a little? For example, the Constellation Pack had variants that looked aged and worn... dirty, in a sense. Seeing as this is a Maquis ship, the way I figure it, it'd be beaten up a bit and fairly "filthy", some ships of this type may have even seen more combat than most star ships. I know you're REALLY early in the texturing stage; I just wanted to throw that little thought in there. ^_^ Cheers, Jb!

-Aeries.

Edit: The YOH Voyager looks FANTASTIC! I'd say she's done, as well. Have a cookie.

Oooh, kewl kewl. And you're welcome :)
Since you seem to be fantastic with textures, I *may* need your assistance with the Mithra once I've finished off the model, if you're willing... could be a while before that's done, though... I was looking through BCFiles and got a LOT of inspiration for improvements to the Mithra's overall design...

So yes, you've been doing some great work here. Keep it up! :D
