And would murder most rigs.

That looks gorgeous, the surface texture looks bumped!

A critique on the rings, they might benefit from smoother transitions from one ring colour to the next. And I think there's some law of physics at play regarding the minimum distance the rings can be from the surface of the atmosphere, they seem too close - to my eye.

Yeah i never liked the distance it was at, but i've changed it to what it's like in the show now.

Ive also got the Tarok and transwarp hub system to show... one giant gas planet and one huge hub :P

Just look at the true scale of the hub. a cube is huge ingame, nevermind when it is so tiny against one of the large conduits :P

I wasnt 100% happy with the ring texture so i redone them once i got the planet into the Vhnori System. Had some slight issues getting it in, especially with the new planet mod with the DQP... the atmosphere as you can see in the first pic engulfed the entire planet and rings :P opps lol So i had to separate the ring from the planet and bring it in as a separate object... then this happened lol opps the rings where too small which meant they were colliding with the planet :P

Finally third time lucky, i got the scale of the rings correct and the new texture looks pretty good in my opinion. Like Cord ive been messing around a little with nifskope and the alpha property possibilities... the underside.jpg pic is the result... darkness if no light it shining on it, which i think makes sense.

Enjoy

Oh if anybody has any requests on what they want to see in the systems in terms of spacial objects.... not ships, just shout out :)

I like that first mistake you made lol, like a massive debris field around the planet, is it stable for game use cause I would love to see it in game?

Awesome rings, can't wait to see them

The Barzan wormhole? I was thinking of doing that system, but It wouldnt be functional so i don't know if its worth doing. The other system depends on if we do the ships which rescued Voyager, so possibly.

Just been messing around with the Transwarp Hub system... This shows the scale of the sun behind it & how tiny the Transwarp hub is lol

I like the way you use the word "Tiny" to explain it. :P Cookies.

actually, I have an "other space objects" idea for you guys to throw in.  something they should have done (or if they did, I missed it).  we know the disposition of two of Earth's 20th century probes, Pioneer 10 (shot up by Klaa for target practice), and the conversion of  the ficticious Voyager 6 to V'Ger.  what about having one of the other three 20th century probes being found randomly in the Delta Quadrant...one that managed to be extremely lucky and ducked the borg and other recycling species?

There was an episode were a 22nd/23rd probe crashed on a planet which led to the destruction of the civilisation, so we might be able to include that.

21st century actually. Friendship One, launched merely 4 years after Cochrane's historic warp flight.

aghr you beat me to it :P

there was also that pre-enterprise probe-ship Seven boarded and downloaded last moments of it's crew (whole crew died after highly radiative shockwave hit it) would be cool addition too :)

This pack is like a dream come true for bridge commander! I've loved Voyager since I was a kid, it's what turned me onto Trek. Technically I am a voyager (notsomuch a trekkie) and the Intrepid class is my absolute favorite star trek ship and Janeway is my favorite captain. When I saw the Borg Tactical cube and the Kazon predator class I was immediately in love with what this pack is going to include.

I've been scripting CR's tactical cube and have a adequate weapon hardpoints consistent with what is shown on screen so I will be interested with how you guys are going to portray the cube in this pack. Ive completed my CGI voyager scripting and am VERY happy with what I have since my torpedoes now are rapid fire in alternating patterns and actually LOOK like the torpedoes in the show.

All my sounds are canon to Voyager and I balance my ships to the youtube reruns of the show.

All I need now are some more delta quadrant baddies (I have the existent Kazon raiders from BC files) and I'll be occupied for a long time!
