Thats not grey... thats lighting. I can add grey, but when it shows in light it may look  :violin

I think the problem of the borg cube beong too dark is because i was in a darkish system and also it doesnt have any specs on it. i think once it has specs on it, it will look a lot better, and more like the show screencap.

As promised here's the 8472 bioship. All done, but i may adjust the speculars as they are pretty standard.

Anywho whats everyone think?

depth how? model wise?

Yeah. Recess a little of the detail and it would create a more three dimensional look to it. That's what we did for Legacy's cubes in Ultimate Universe and the effect is stunning. Not like "lint" type polycounts, but not a smoothed cube, either. Just enough to complement the textures.

Right Ive just had chance to start the borg speculars. Ive layered the specs so there is different contrasted in different areas where there is supposed to be depth. anyway what you all think?

That looks much better, it adds a lot more depth to the cube. Also, is the bioship in the first pic the variant that we saw destroy the borg planet in Scorpion Part I? Love this pack and I appreciate the work put into it.  :dance

The cubes look great, but the bioships somehow do bug me... I just can't put my finger on it...

I like the one I attached more.. but, like I said, I can't put my finger on it.
Maybe someone else could figure it out.

It may be the model that's putting you off, it does have some parts which are wrong which ill get fixed. The textures are the correct colour with shapes, but your textures are completely off. I know lets trade ive got decent textures, you've got a decent model :D lol o/j

The bioships look a lot like the massive Vger ship from ST:TMP.  The ships do look good, and will be a great improvement for BC.  I should get working on my Year of Hell Voyager. :D

I wouldn't say my textures are completely wrong.. just a bit darker maybe. but that could be the lighting and the speculars :)

Are you also doing some new Kazon ships?  :P

I see now, the nose is too short on the JLS bioship model.

But still, it's a cool model. :D

Oddly, that problem was addressed ages ago, but I seem to have lost the version that had the extended nose :S. I'll try and track it down ;).

they spent too much time trying to play legacy...the games crappyness has destroyed their minds.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D
