This is definately gonna be a while, lol.  That's fine though.  I'm just wondering if there's gonna be a new Nova-class in this pack, or at least maybe a rescale of c2x's (that one is bigger than the Intrepid model).  But this pack looks like it's gonna be worth the wait...

hey here is a good ? will there be any conflicts with KM such as  game crash ,copy's of ships like your borg ships and KM ships ,internet isues , will it come with special affects like slipstreem or will i need to get that in order to have it on your ship's .... will there be mods i will need to take full advantage of your mod or will it come with most of what it needs . do you have an estimate on the file size .sorry to ask so many ?'s but  you must admit they are good ?'s and do you have a very rough release date in mind ?.........ps your mods not even out and i think its already one of the better mods out there nice work so far very well done .

Sorry i didn't get back to you. been bsuy with exam prep and of course GTA IV :P Right if i break down your questions... heres the answers.

will there be any conflicts with KM

A: No there will be no conflicts with any other existing mod currently available.

will it come with special affects like slipstreem or will i need to get that in order to have it on your ship's


A: some ships will have slipstream capablity which might mean you will need to download sovvys slipstream mod, but your game will work fine without it. Other ships which will have new travel methods, all the scripts etc will be included in the pack.

will there be mods i will need to take full advantage of your mod or will it come with most of what it needs

A: As far as i'm aware currently there shouldnt be anything else needed to take full advantage. I only suggest km 1.0 as the pack will probably be tested a lot more with that than say custom installs.

do you have an estimate on the file size

With 17 ships compressed, all without sfx that file comes to 119mb. So we can expect the file size to at least double.


a rough release date in mind

A: well we still have only done half of the ships which we intend to do with the pack. And as some people know there are 3 phases to this pack. Only phase 1 has been announced to the public.... the ships. Phase 2 shouldnt take that long, it depends how fast i can get my head round it :D Phase 3 is sort of in the process now, but again it going quite slow. So an estimate which i would aim for is end of 2008, if not sooner.

I don't think there is, but i think lint might release his separately thats if he didn't loose it when his HDD failed.

Ok the reason i came to update the thread was for this. :D I think cord said the mesh is more or less done. It still needs properly mapping along with texturing, but overall its looking good.

That looks really awesome textured.  One question, does it destroy properly ingame?
I haven't had the time to test it's destroyability since I quickly made the model.

All I can say is, keep up the awesome work guys. :D

Anyways here's another ship which will be included in the pack... The Wells Class Timeship - U.S.S. Relativity.

There are some smoothing errors, but i'll hopefully get limey to fix them :P

I no he did, but that was just blue/green speculars. This is to make it have the chameleon look. Anyways like i said, im still workin out the specs.
