Chinchuba Class
« on: June 15, 2008, 09:21:20 PM »
I downloaded the Chinchuba and that ship freezes at the bridge loading screen, well not freezing. You can look around etc. but it wont laod the ship, so I checked ConsoleTracKDump and it said this.
Also whenever I warp to DS9 during QB the game crashes back to windows.

Second error is caused by the first (the current player is "None", meaning it doesn't exist).

The first error either means an incomplete mod install, or the mod itself is faulty.
Is it this mod you are refering to?

[EDIT] Make sure you don't have an extra Ships directory (one with a capital S), if you do, move all the files (or atleast Chinchuba.py) to ships (with a lowercase s) and try again.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Okay, i'll do that. So the Directory of Ships should be 'ships' no caps? Hmm..i'll try that.

Nope, 'ships' just makes everything lock up at the start of the game with a black screen and mouse cursor. I think it's just a faulty mod.

What does the console say?

The console says nothing, it just locks as soon as the game starts to load. I try to open it and nothing there, and the console report has the same thing. So I just deleted the ship for now, i'll message the creator tommorow and see if that's a bug in it.
