NanoFixWarpCam lockup problem (with console report)
« on: August 17, 2008, 05:22:15 PM »
Hi all,

I'm running BC 1.1 with Kobayashi Maru 1.0. and trying to play through the campaign.  The stability has been problematic in Vista 32 despite running in compatibility mode for windows 98, so I only have a few of the modulators active, principally those designed to enhance the graphics.  Mainly I'm experiencing a lot of unexpected quitting to desktop.  Not entirely sure how to get a console report in such situations, but I do at least have one for my last problem (a lockup).

See below:

G Python Exception Debug Console.
Type 'resume' to keep running, or 'abort' to kill process.

Outdated Foundation, updating functions
Outdated Foundation, installing FolderManager
Foundation Tech loaded
Gravity FX has been loaded.
BridgeFX Enabled...
CameraFX Enabled...
ExplosionFX Enabled...
SpecialFX Enabled...
WarpFX Enabled...
DS9FX Initializing...
AttributeError: PreLoadAssets
Doing Pre Save game stuff
Doing Pre Save game stuff
AttributeError: PreLoadAssets
Doing Pre Save game stuff
Traceback (innermost last):
File ".\Scripts\Custom\NanoFXv2\CameraFX\CamFX.py", line 59, in NanoFixWarpCam

    pSet = App.g_kSetManager.GetSet(sSetName)
AttributeError: 'None' object has no attribute 'g_kSetManager'
>>>

I'm certainly no expert in these scripts, but it looks an invalid reference of some sort.  Hopefully someone out there will understand this.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If you want to wrong the campaign with not stock stuff, KM is not the way you're gonna do it unless you turn ALL the mutators off. Supermod V3 was made for the campaign...that is what you use.
All hail the messiah!

Yep. KM1.0 is not single player compatible.

Where in the campaign does this happen?
