Is there a scripts\Plugins directory in your install?

That's a good thing. After looking through your scripts\Custom\Ships directory, I can find nothing that could be causing this problem. Try deleting all of the .pyc files from your scripts\Custom\Ships directory. (MLeo, feel free to step in any time. :?)

please use the edit function rather than make multiple posts...

and you really really should try the search function here, as well as at FF (where you originally posted your issue) to find answers on your own end before asking them...  it is becoming very much complicated to walk you thru every little step by step - you really should try and do research on your own to get you through things...

the answers are out there, you just have to try and find them...

The pyc is the file compiled by the game, and it uses the information supplied by a py file, so by deleting the pyc file , you are a-sured the information [an example: hardpoint] is new [refreashed]

I run my game at 1024*768 in windowed mode with graphics set to high. Also, I would like for you not to have to uninstall/reinstall because that takes the fun out of the mystery, it takes some time, and then if someone else has this problem we won't know how to fix it.

It may help by removing ship plugins that only had the py deleted. It's a long shot, but it might work.

Edit: Also, what Tiq wrote is correct too.

be careful not to delete any pyc files that do not contain a py counterpart...  the game will not regenerate them...

at this point, i believe a full uninstall/reinstall would be better than trying to describe step by step how to potentially fix the problem...  this thread is 5 pages now, and im not so sure it has really progressed very far...  and, i think you may be confusing the thread author rather than helping/teaching...

IMO, it would be best to start over with a fresh new install and take it from there - step by step...

if i were you, id get rid of the install you have now completely...

then put in the BC disc, create a fresh new install...
then apply the BC 1.1 patch...
then, you may want to include KM1 on top of that, as it contains most of the best mods that are out there...
after that, install the BSG pack - not the old 2004 one, but the new one (only):
 http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Battlestar_Galactica_Fleet_Pack;72482
then see how it works out...

i have to be honest in that since the pack was released, i dont think i have ever heard of anyone running into the issue youre reporting...  so it might just be something unique on your end only...

Are you running in something other than High mode (for models)?
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Can you somehow verify which ship, from which mod you used (and put the link to that mod up here)?
Yes, I know we did this before, but that would mean downloading something close to 100MB.

yep, thats the right one...  i dont understand why the ship wouldnt show up ingame, (as i mentioned) i dont think anyone else has ever mentioned the issue before since it was released (i have never encountered that on the few installs i have put the pack on over the years)...
is it just the Pegasus that isnt showing up?
and, have you tried a new install to see if it is occurring again?

Normally, when you have a "low-end" computer, the game will either run really slow, or crash.  Or white ships, but we never encounterd a situation where it simply didn't show a ship.

What are your system specifications anyway?

There is something I find slightly odd in the first image.
No shields or other controls. Not even icons.

one thing i do know, the Galactica and Pegasus (and others i think?) in the fleet pack come with no shields, i think i recall Dave mentioning that technically isnt "canon"...  and there are no torp systems on those two ships (and others?) also for the same reason...  of course, this means that Felix cannot control the ship or fire (or attack) without a torp system put in, but if youre steering the ship and such i think it works fine...  personally, i had put in torp systems anyway, even with it having no torps...

as far as the ships not showing up, i must admit i am at a complete loss; i have no idea at all why that is occurring, and i truly dont recall anyone having ever mentioning the same issue in the past :(
