...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

I still think that ship has way too many escape pods but that's the designers problem and not yours. Excellent work, can't wait to see the final product! Reminds me to get cracking on finishing that bridge I owe you.

Great looking ship here. and the level of detail going into this  its really awe inspiring
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Hey MarkyD, can you do me a huge favor?

Can I get a straight 90* profile shot of the ship? I am redoing the MSD and since I am designing it for your ship I might as well use your version as the base. Thanks, it would really mean a lot.

No, the textures aren't really necessary. I only need the windows as those give me the scale for the decks and that's done so far. I can eyeball the nacelles pretty good. Those were perfect on my original sketching.

I can take it now. If you can, give it a black background for contrast. that will help along the edging. Thanks a lot, again!

You probably have this image, but if not, it should help for when you texture the shuttlebay area :)

just a quick thought for you, buddy: maybe give those sharp edges of the nacelles a once-over with the chamfer tool before you texture them? I don't think it would take much to smooth them out; it's just a bit heavy to look at with those edges... Still, amazing work, dude.

I quite like the rounded. Though I'm not a fan of the colour. The purple is still too vibrant. Also, the windows on the secondary hull are still bigger than the ones on the saucer.

Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

It's the studio model. It looks completely different with lighting and the various camera passes.

I noticed a slight inaccuracy in the shape of the primary hull. I can show it far better than I can explain it. The first image is the model currently, the second obviously is the studio model and the third is how the model should look in order to better match the "real thing"
