*ties samurai to a tree* :arms:

One day wiley, youve gotta teach me some of your tricks. :p

Amen to that!  I wouldn't mind learning how to model like this!

For saucers, use spheres, but move the rows of points to form a saucer-like shape.  Sharp edges don't look that good in BC, use champhered boxes with a fillet of .2.  The Excelsior engineering was a tapered sphere, and probooleaned in half.  Plus, it is always good to get full schematics of the ship whenever possible, as well as reference pics to make a very accurate model.

If there was, I'd have forfeited the moment you put those babies up. Hell, have another for making me like the Ent-J! And keep up the great work!

Maybe one day I'll be able to match the quality of these in character modelling. :P

I'm thinking about starting on some of the smaller ID4 ships- the troop transport and the alien fighter.

Man, those fighters were so awesome. I had a toy of one when i was little (They came with floppy disks with mini games, anyone remember them?) I think I still have it somewhere, and I can only imagine a swarm of them mauling a Sovvie.

The toy I have (I still have all of the pieces) you knock down New York skyscrapers with a small city destroyer which shot little plastic balls.  It also included a little alien fighter and an F-18 fighter.  The whole thing was inside of the the alien's heads which opened up to reveal the city.

How about a couple of borg cubes versus the mothership?

That droid control looks fantastic(aswell as all the others)!

I'm thinking about starting on some of the smaller ID4 ships- the troop transport and the alien fighter.

That would be sweet!

Here's another ship to add to the ID4 Alien ships- the Troop Transport.

19.5k polys

I found a good side view from one of the movie props- I figured that these transports are about 130-145 decks in height!

I'll keep that in mind, but I used the spline to make the saucer section of my ship which I'll be working on after my ship pack.

This is turning out great and I can't wait to see more
