Have you made the ID4 fighters and the ID4 mothership aswell? Then it would be complete. Its looking awesome. Too bad it won't get the chance to grace FileFront with its presence.  :(
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Those are the last 2 things I still have yet to build.  For uploading, I'll just upload them to mediafile and put a link in the downloads page here at BCC.  BCfiles traffic will slowly go here since this is the only BC site/forums available right now.

I don't really know.  It was hard enough to get the city destroyer ingame.  I might just leave the city destroyer out, because they probably were never meant to battle in space.  The Mothership will be much like a normal-sized spacedock, maybe a little bigger.

I say leave the City Destroyer in.  I mean, heck we've got the Moonraker shuttle in BC now, I think that the ID4 CD will work fine. :)

The only bad thing about the ID4 ships is how few weapons they have.  The city destroyers only have the one weapon, the fighters have the two blasters, and we don't even know if the troop transports and mother ship are armed.  Hmmm...

The city-killers also had pulse type weapons. The 'fin' fired a single green pulse that shot down that US helicopter so it would stand to reason that it has similar weapons scatered around it. Maybe it didn't fire those weapons because the Air Force planes were going too fast, hence the reason it launches those dog fighters in the first place.

Building the impossible: Nero's Narada warship. :D  I have Star Trek: Countdown #3 as reference.  I'm just making it up as I go.  This mesh is just to get the basic shape going before I get to the nitty-gritty.  I still have much more to add to it.

Thanks. :) I'll just add plenty of coils/tubes, "tentacles", and raised paneling to cover up the inner "blob".  It's not really difficult.

So, instead of doing the easy and good original design, you model the gigerized monstrosity it becomes? Way to go man :P

W00t! Nero's ship!

That, aswell as the new Enterprise, is the only thing I like about the upcoming movie.

That, and Simon Pegg.  :D

Woot! More woot! Borg-assimilated cookies away!
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

This monster is going to be big poly wise.  It's currently 56k polys.  I'll just add a one simple texture for texturing.  Enjoy! :D This is probably as close as we are going to get making it look right.
