I love both ships...they are both very accurate to what how they were in the movies..WC's is based on the physical model...while DJs is based on the CG model...both are spectacular!

and Wiley i battled the Enterprise-E vs the Enterprise-D (DJs) and it was tough but i took the Big E-D down.. so the weapons are balanced pretty well IMO

I've always loved that version of the Ambassador and believe it should have been the actual one used.  You've done a fantastic job at making it come to life!  I'm soooo looking forward to using this one in the single player campaign!

Me likey your sovs, lovely model of my favorite design :D

Did notice however, that the registry on one side is reversed and the yacht has no icon. (see image)
Also, the nemesis version doesn't seem to be able to separate the yacht, was this intentional?

I already know about the flipped registry, and I cannot fix that currently. I was thinking about that when I was texturing that area. If I were to fix it, I will have some slight issues with the alpha channel for that area due to the spotlight.

For the Yacht icon and weapons, I assumed that most people used KM for their installs. I can fix the issues and release a patch later. I'll make a note of it.

The Nemesis version does not have the mvam ability with the yacht, and they mixed up the screencaps for the nemesis version also.

Wiley, that issue can be fixed if you either redo the spotlight or the size of the registry.  I know you hate reference pics, so here's the link instead.

As you can see, that written stuff should all fit entirely within the spotlight.  If you redo either the spotlight or the registry, then there should be no problem anymore.
I know I don't beta often, but I could take a look myself at the texture file to show you what I mean.

EDIT:  Here I am talking about beta and you already released it.  Stupid me. :funny

I'll most likely get around patching the Sovereigns when I start working on the Sentinel variant.

Anyways, since the release of the Sovereigns, I have resumed work on the Argonaut, the Proteus/Achilles hybrid ship. I am not that skilled in creating random details in a custom ship. Creating this detail takes the most time. I have remapped bits of the ship so it is much easier for me to texture, since this was the first ship I learned how to UV map correctly.

I have changed the overall color and added Sovereign-styled paneling in parts of the ship. I am currently making the textures for the nacelles and lower engineering section, that is why it looks so empty. Enjoy!

Oh I definitely look forward to the Sentinel :D

And the Sovereignesque hull plating fits in perfectly with this design.  Looks great.

The hull shield infront of the bridge is a cool touch. And I agree the sov style patterns look much better than before.
All hail the messiah!

Those textures look awesome  Think the escape hatches look a bit basic, and not too fond of the rectangular deflector mate, but all in all I really love this ship, textures are spot on and its so sleek

When I am done building, texturing, and hardpointing them. My list keeps me in order of what I am currently building, or have built, or have yet to build...if that makes sense.  :funny

I've finished up the alpha channels, and about to work on the speculars. I've also set up some mood lighting.  :)

You're very welcome!  Just came off a 3 hour GAlaxy Chart campaign with your Sovy to see this and it was a great way to take a break!
