Bet its the Pic, cant see Wiley missing that, on the saucer.
It's just a weird lighting error.

Between yours and furswift's, I'm going to have to say yours looks better. Now don't take this as a bash at furswift, his looks top notch. I just like your color pallet better for some reason, although I can't quite put my finger on why I like yours more. :idk: Personal opinion I guess.

Besides, what's another 2 or more connies on BCfiles anyway?

(you know, while I was typing that last part, I know that someone will think about an over 9000 joke about the number of connies on BCfiles. Aw well, you can't have enough extremely well done connies, or any other ship for that matter)

Well, there are plenty TOS and TMP era Connies and a few TNG-style refits.  In fact, the least modeled one is the JJ-prise.  It's only been done by two modelers, whereas everybody that learns to model takes a crack at the TOS and TMP Connies at some point.

See, this is what makes this community awesome. You actually have a choice of ships to add to your install and people can appreciate the differences. If mine isn't quite to your liking, you can choose Wiley's or Baz's. Or you can get all 3 (I have Baz's and I'm certainly getting Wiley's once it's available). I hope more modders throw their hats into the TMP connie ring. The more the merrier I say! :)

Here's a little more texture work.

Areas of the deflector and torpedo bay are not mapped. I'm picking out the areas that are going to be included on the ID map.

Really nice on the textures so far, they stand out nicely.

Beutiful mesh as well, saucer and dish in particular look very smooth.

I have no way of knowing- it's not ingame yet. It will most likely damage well since 95% of the mesh is a single object.

Impressive. I found those TMP nacelles really tricky to model, let alone get as one single object. :banghead:
A very nice model as well  - looks like a much higher poly mesh than it is
