Will you release that with the Kelvin or release at all? A lot of people will like that version.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

I'll release it separately.

I definitely like that more than the ST-XI Enterprise. A "must fly" for me! lol

I will honestly say though that the pylons to the nacelles need a bit of "beefing" up from fore-aft. Just IMHO.

I present you the USS Kelvin. :)

Nice, have you seen the ST11 desktop backgrounds? theres some nice close shots that shot some cool details; for instance patches of paint missing from the registry, they might be worth adding

From that pic that Mark just posted then, Ive realised that the font outline is wrong... You've got it red when it should be black on th outer part, then red on the inner... Same for the Name aswell, that should just have a black outline, but it's upto you if you change it... it's only a minor thing ;)

Looking awesome anyways Wiley ;) Cookie

As much as I love the STXI Enterprise's sleek look, the Kelvin-prise looks just as cool!

Quick idea Wiley:
1701 Concept pack release:

1. First schematic design (AKA Koener-prise)
2. Second Schematic design (A.K.A J.J-prise)
3. Final designers choice (A.K.A Wiley-prise)

Would be awesome if all 3 were released in a pack with those titles and custom descriptions explaining them but tieing them in a fan-fiction way to the Trekker-verse, lol.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Those paint patches seem to have been created during the explosions.

I would venture to say that before the battle, the paint was intact.

Actually, the Kelvin-prise was first built by The Light Works, none of it was my idea- I only built the BC mesh.

Maybe so, but the mesh work and textures are superb.

And I was the one that suggested it on SciFi-Meshes. haha
I also suggested a Bonaventure class

and Miranda kit-bash.

At first, I thought you were taking credit for everything.  You were just giving ideas, sorry.  There are many variants I can make using the Kelvin parts.  Downside, is that max stinks at converting to nif (mesh is stretched/scrunched up).

If you boolean and weld everthing together into a single solid mesh, then detach the parts you want, the Niftools exporter works perfectly. It's just when you have intersecting, disconnected peices. The Max 3 one works no matter what the mesh looks like though.

With a little bit of luck, the Kelvin is ingame. :D  The model damages well too.  Now I just need to make a "canon" hardpoint.

Awesome work, Wiley. Verrrry nice. Hardpoing should be most difficult though, seeing as all we've seen of her is a couple of shots directed at her.
