Looking great eclipse.

One request: when this mod is ready for release, please make it so it does not overwrite any other Sovereign mod. I have several Sovvy mods installed on my different installs of BC and would like to keep all of them as I have tweaked them individually.

Thanks!

Don't worry about that, it won't overwrite any other Sovereign as the data/models/ships folder name will be named SovereignClassFC :).  I may include a seperate file folder for those who want it to overwrite though.

SLIGHT update.  I've put some Azteching on the bridge area which you can probably BARELY see LOL, and I've added the main shuttle bay, now all I need to do is add the alpha maps on the shuttle bay, more azteching and winder's and she'll be the only completed texture LOL

lol, but I've already given a deadline of 2 years, and I'm just about a quarter of the way finished...that's good progress for something I restarted about 6 months ago LOL.  I am curious to know though if there's some way to get a rounded aztec pattern using photoshop...I wish I were more advanced with Max...I would have done it that way :).  However until I get my Continental Class starship finished (I'm starting to think it's cursed too LOL).  I won't be touching the Hawkeye Sovereign Model (I do know though that I have Max 8 on my PC, it might help me learn with the Hawkeye Sovereign, and your techniques :D)

EDIT:  I am putting in also phaser warning strips as they were seen in FC.  I'm not sure if CG's 1.0 had them

however long it takes, it should be a good retexture looking at these standards. Keep up the good work!

I know I added the phaser warnings at some point, don't know if they got released tho.

And I know there are ways of doing the rounded panels... I wish I knew how P81 did them on his Sovereign model, they were very cleanly drawn, even if they weren't quite the right pattern type.

Hehe, if anyone else could fill us in ;) I'd be happy to try it out, because right now I'm stuck LOL.  It's the only reason I haven't finished working on the saucer as far as getting the windows up and running :)

Slight bump, no work as of late due to work and School LOL.  Oy CG you're right about the Sovereign...that is unless LC has worked on his :D

i have some slight bad news :(.

I didn't make a up to date backup, and my laptop died on me, I need a new hard drive.  HOWEVER I did make an outdated backup with my work, so all is not lost.  I need to readd the aztec patterning on the bridge, the shuttle bay, the alpha for the shuttle bay, and the phaser warning strips (as well as redownloading KM 1.0 so that I can play with my current favorite...the LC Intrepid :D).  Wish this hadn't happened, but at least I didn't loose ALL my work :D

I've learned about that the hard way as well. :(  Best recommendation I could make is get an external usb backup drive.  Barring any really nasty viruses that might infect them, they're fairly separate from the rest of the computer.  I've considered just saving all my work externally, but I tend to just back up major things occasionally.
