Go into Configure/Graphics and change Colour Depth to "High".

If it affects your entire monitor, right click on your desktop, go to properties, then settings and then change the colour quality.

Ugh...in the graphics program?  Or properties?

As you can see it's already set at 32...

And besides, My radeon 9200 is a place holder until I can afford to get a better graphics card...

Ok, so its an inside-BC problem.

Run BC, go to Configure/Graphics and change the Colour Level to "High".

Yeah, I figured that out  :funny my day hasn't been all that great, I should have known that already :(

ARGH, why is my AA and AF off?

Even turning off T&L does nothing :(  I go back to low quality colour level and everything is fine...

I think I just need a new graphics card y'all.  So until I do get one, you have to put up with the low color quality I'm afraid :(

EDIT:  Or not, I don't know, what do you guys think?

PM me how you fixed that and you'll be my deity for all of February. :D I have a Radeon GFX card as well and ever since the computer crashed AA has only been enabled on 16 bit colour.

AA and AF are off with the BC Color Quality at high...with color quality on low, it's on...I've tried everything, turning T&L off, changing my graphics options...etc, and there's still Jaggies when on high color depth...

Plain and simple, I need a new graphics card :P

Yep, unfortunately, the 9200 has had some issues with AA & AF in 32bit mode. So, don't think you're alone.

If you're strapped for money but still want a decent card I've seen some older 9700 or 9800 Pros for sale on the internet for very good prices... and those cards are significantly better than the 9200.

It looks great. Just hope its the right scale though.

Hell, it could even have flames painted on it with a Volkswagon badge where the registery is and I still would love it solely for the correct scale.

(PS: Don't be afraid to include textures like that as an extra option by the way, lol. Would look awesome!)
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Right about now it's the same size as the original model in KM (C2X/P81's Steamrunner) I'm trying to rescale it a bit to make her more cannon, and keep up with the sizing of the Sovereign's escape pods (They should be the same size) so in all I'm scaling it about half of what it is.  I've also changed the ID Texture again.  Considering I never put an H in Appalachia LOL It's right now :D.  I think I'm going to go with the names in EAS (Ex Artist Scientica for those who don't know) for the pack :).

EDIT:  I'm not sure what the scaling issue is, is it that it's a bit bigger?  Or smaller?  Right now I've scaled it a bit smaller.  I've scaled her and ported her, then I just used the original KM Steamrunner HP to show the difference. The flash is where I fired a torpedo.

The Steamrunner was too big, actually a by quite a bit. A lot of P81's work from way back when had scaling issues. Any way you could show a comparison shot between the Steamrunner and something like a Galaxy or Sovereign? I only ask so you could get some scaling opinions.

I'm not entirely sure how to do that to be honest *blushes if it's as easy as Pie*

render a sovereign and the steamrunner at the same time, or take a screenshot of them right ontop of each other, there is in that scenario little room for error

Visual Effects Supervisor David Stipes said that an overall length of 243.8 meters was generally used onscreen.

That places it at just under half the size of the Akira Class: 464.4 meters

JB Is helping me rescale the ship :) but thank you for the references :)

Under the circumstances, I wish i could give you guys a brand stinkin new steamrunner class model as well as a new Sovereign (Wiley is doing a heck of a job on the Sovereign though) and Norway.  However, my modeling skills are limited.  All i really know how to do is texture and do basic modeling (Like smoothing, Unrwrapping UVW Maps, making phasers.) Once I get more experience I hope to bring you guys more good BC material :).  I'm just glad I'm doing good enough job with all of this that you can't tell the Steamrunner is P81's.  Makes me feel like I'm doing an excellent job!  I appreciate all of your critiques and compliments!
