The Armada games do not use registries.  Ship textures are so low quality that registries are indistinguishable.  The names are drawn from a pool listed in a text file for each ship.  That name is displayed only when the ship is selected.

Of course, images always speak louder than words:

I'm going to use what I have for now...as I've already made the scripts and I don't want to make anymore.  I want to be able to release this thing by christmas...

As for the steamrunner, I'm hoping to complete everything before christmas, maybe make some more registries.  I have to readjust the windows so they'll match the Akira JB is planning on releasing (hopefully in the next year :P).

Oy...which also means I'm re-doing the glows a bit...*sighs*

Update on the steamy!  I've put windows on the bottom of the saucer.

HOWEVER it is not exact to the studio 3d model.  I just feel that artistic licensing would be better here since we really didn't get a good look at the model on screen...just some renders that Drex Files has.  That's just with the cargo bays on the front of the ship.

Glad you approve :D  I'm working on tweaking the HP to fit the model...and...I've tweaked the saucer texture a bit HOPEFULLY the windows on the top saucer will be more acceptible to some :)

Great work,

I've been thinking about that...and I'm thinking of releasing an extras folder with the grey textures if anyone wants those.  I mean, all I have to do is just turn off one simple layer LOL

Incredible and HQ streamrunner

Well, the textures are 1024x1024 so it's not exactly THAT HQ LOL.  However, thanks!  I've put a lot of work making the P81 steamrunner my own piece of work! :)  I'm glad I've succeeded!

Hey, it's better than the current Steamrunner, so I'd say HQ.

HP is almost finished...I am thinking about making it just slightly weaker than the Sovereign, but not too much so.  I just can't shake this feeling that the Steamy was originally intended for more scientific research instead of scouting or border patrol.

Hopefully I can get this HP right...

Oh, and just so you guys will know...this is my first venture into HPing...the Titan (once I get the hang of Max) will be my first venture into modeling...and I have a firm grasp on texturing LOL.  I guess I'm my own little mod team :)

Anyways, if anything is too strong or too weak...blame me :D

*sighs* I should really check in on my threads more often instead of being nostalgic and watching clips from old Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers episodes....(I wish I were a kid again sometimes :()

Thanks Marky!  Coming from an expert like you that makes my ego swell :P LOL Seriously though it is an honor :)

Any good dragonzord clips in there?  Good to hear it will be a bit mean. I always thought the streamy was part of the same pathfinder/anti-borg development program that gave us the defiant.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

Eh...I wish, unfortunately I'm watching the original outtake of it instead of the new ones they have on ABC Kids (although it would be awesome to see!)

And as far as the steamrunner yeah, could be that, but I don't know, To me it just looks more brainy than brawny...
