Strange: tractor beam vents plasma

I  noticed today that whenever my tractor beam locks on a target my ship starts venting plasma. What could be causing this?

You mostlikely managed to find my worst mod ever. A button to vent plasma.
There is another mod similar to that, but way, way better. By LostJedi (LJ).

Atleast that's the most likely cause of the error.

Ah, thanks!
Oddly I had this mod for quite some time and only now did it start to act weird.

Anyway I installed the one that comes with BCS: The Beginning and everything is ok now.
