See thourgh damage

? ? How do I fix the problem of the see through damage. I have tried deleting the .vox files and downloading a new damage texture but they did not work. Please help.

I have attached a pic:(If you look at the saucer you can see the deflector through it)
now you see me...now you dont

Go to Data/Textures/Effects/Damage.TGA and change the Alpha channel to either completely black or completely white, no greys.

It's a problem with the Sovie, not the damage textures. I've got it as well but have no idea how to sort it out.

I assume this doesn't happen with other ships for you?

I'm afraid there isn't much that you can do (atleast as far as I can come up with).

But I do seem to remember that it's possible to have a "hollow" model and a "filled" model. That might have something to do with it.

I'll move this to Modding, I think there are more people who can help you there.

Yeah it's just the models, nothing you can do unless you play with sovvies till you find one that fits good.

  its not with all the ships just the sovereign and Wileys new Enterprise-Just released so far they are the only ones with the problem.

actually most ships do this, you probably just didn't notice it before.
