ISD
« on: April 23, 2009, 12:49:51 PM »
So, I wanted to do something big, see if I can teach myself tricks and such with something high detail. I chose the ISD. Why? Relatively simple but composed of many smaller details that make it look complex. Plus, it's iconic. So far the steps have given me a bit of trouble (As they just don't see to sit right ever) But.. Here's what I've gotten so far.

Very nice.  Now all we need is a Millennium Falcon to hide near the bridge..... :)

...Hmmm. I think I can find decent YT-1800 schematics, despite being a fan of Dash Rendars far superior 2400 :P If this turns out well, the Falcon is definitely on the list (Every one I see online has a hideously huge dish instead of a more "realistic" one.. Always bugged me.)

It's YT-1300  :arms:

in addition, a launchable TIE fleet consisting of regular Ties, Interceptors and Bombers would be cool as well. as long as you can match the amount of the craft on board and send them squadron after another.. 8)

Shows just how much I liked that ship :P

This isn't really for any purpose other than my portfolio, though, as I intend it to have as much detail as possible. Though tbh I've been working on something else for the meantime, so she's sitting on my HDD waiting for the docking bay stencil and lower shield generator.

Shame. the available SW ships could use a skillful modelers hand, the current ones are crude but do their job admirably well.. which is pulverizing nearly any ST-verse ship.. :P
