The only thing I can suggest on improving this beauty is making the rear of the engineering section thin out like the connie does, gives it that "Tear Drop" look, as currently from the top it just doesn't seem to really fit together.

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

In regards to the whole saucer size thing, the only thing that changed proportion-wise with the JJPrise was the secondary hull.  The nacelles and saucer retained relative size with each other.

So, instead of increasing the saucer's size, I would decrease the secondary hull's size.  Right now, looking at the top view, the proportions look just like the JJPrise.

Ok I need a couple of willing testers to try out my TMP connie and give me some pointers as to improve her prior to release.

The ships model and textures are finished just need some HP feedback.

I will upload all but the NIF file to filefront tester will have the NIF e-mailed to them.

I have beta tested alot of mods in my time within the bridge commander community. I tend to get straight to the point with my beta reports. If you let me beta test this for you, I will be really greatful and give you as much help as I can on improving it.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Cool ships though it looks like you're missing atleast one scar on the ST 2/3 version. Like the one on the port side under the saucer.
All hail the messiah!

made some small updates.

Rebuilt the impulse engine add torp tube aft and fore and put the sensor dome on.

*Edit currently at 7.5K polys

This one is pretty good asthetically speaking.  Far better than the bastardprise design. (yes, I really hate the movie Enterprise from ST11)

However, if I may suggest adding some more segments to the front of the hull right there?  It looks to be too much of a point, and perhaps could be smoother in appearance.

Thanks for the feedback but I like the pointer look, I feel it looks more streamline (I know that is not important in space, but I like it).

I now have the two beta testers for the Connie so thank you to Billz and ShadowKnight the ship is on its way to you.

Well I was reading Marks thread on his shuttle and saw the statement that there is very little non-fed building going on, so I started this in my lunch break

Crap! That was the next ship I was going to build. I call first "dibs" on the JJ Klingon D-7 "warbird." :)

Only suggestion I have on that battle cruiser is to make the front "bridge" area thing more of an oval, less of a pill shape.  Really good start though. :)

Small connie update. As requested when I first started the ship the saucer and secondary hull now seperate.

While it was written and demonstrated in a tech manual somewhere, I highly doubt that an "MVAM" Constitution Class would be very efficient. On the one hand, you have one section with warp engines but no impulse. And on the other hand, you have a section with impulse engines but no warpdrive.

Besides which, it looks really odd seeing the ship like this. I usually just keep firing at the neck of the ship until it blows up, effectively creating my own "saucer separation" :P

The living quarters are all in the saucer section.  The purpose of separation is to escape a warp core breach.

^^^Nailed it.  Up until Starfleet engineers made the very wise decision of adding impulse drives to both sections of the ships, the main purpose of separation was in catastrophic emergency.  Though it could be used as a tactical advantage, up until the Galaxy class, the parts of the ships would have to be towed back to a Starbase or other repair facility so they could be reintegrated.

Cool mechanic there baz. :)

even though the ship can redock back together I'm thinking of disabling the this function and also render the drive section useless to simulate a emergency seperation.

What are you thoughts

Hmmm...MVAM guys who know their stuff, is there maybe a way to have 2 different kinds of separation, one for emergencies that can't reintegrate and one for normal?  Cause while true to the original intent of the Connies separation, it would be kind of annoying...
