I'm sorry I know this isn't the place to post this, please move or delete if you must, but HOW IS THE NARADA ENHACED WITH BORG TECH?????? I'm confused, yes it came from the 24th but it was just a mining ship trying to get home to save everyone, thats when he went after spock and fell into the black hole. I missed the Borg tech part, esspecially since in Kirks time there was NO borg. Again I'm sorry I hacked this thread, please move but I just need a answer to this question cause I keep seeing it come up and I have yet to see one reference to the movie for this "fact" Sorry Sorry Sorry again

PD: In the Star Trek Countdown comics it was explained that when Nero went to a secrit romulan base after he killed the prator, they tolk his ship and added a borg weponds pod. This pod went on the frount ans the nanites transformed to outer part of the ship to what you see in the movies. Then after a short battle with the Next Gen cast with Captain Data at the helm of the Enterprise-E, Nero falls in the black hole. So if you concider the new movie canon in its own time line, the comic is canon to the prime line because it was written by the guys that wrote the movie.

It wasn't even that specific, it was like

Romulan top secret base commander: "Nero, even though you're just a miner and inexplicably have the praetor's staff, stained with a lot of blood, AND you know of this base, the coordinates of which only the praetor and his advisors are supposed to know, which you could only possibly have come upon by killing the surviving government, you seem angry at Romulus' destruction. I like that. Look, we have borg tech, you can have it."

*Next scene, The Narada has been transformed*

It's nice to finally have a Narada ingame.

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

It's not the greatest model, but it's not a bad one either. I don't understand why Baz made a seperate ship def outside of the plugin file, but that was easily fixed with BCUT, along with adding a advanced hull through FTech, to simulate th Borg regenerative hull that it had thanks to the Borg tech.

But please, if you do a retexture, could you add some glows to it? It's very hard to see ingame.

Yeah, that.  :)

Added a proper description/ship history into the plugin aswell.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

It wasn't an extra ship def, it was a species def so it would have its own warp in/out sounds. ;)

Wow Baz, I remember seeing when you started off, and even then it was impressive, but you've come a long way since then... The Farragut looks beautiful! Have a cookie.

Thanks guys.

I now have all the JJvariants exported now. Each class will have 2 ships in it. (accept the connie)

The constitution class:-
Stargazer
hathaway
Kelvin class: -
Kelvin-A
Hargood (named after the escort ship my grandfather served aboard in WW2)
Miranda class: -
Reliant
Saratoga
Farragut class: -
Farragut-A (original destroyed battle of Vulcan)
Armstrong-A (original destroyed battle of Vulcan)

If you feel there should be another connie I'm open to names.

I rescind my previous suggestion.  How about the USS Excalibur in honor of the ship destroyed by the M5 in the TOS Episode "The Ultimate Computer"?

Well if we a re looking at TOS connies just do the lot. But I don't want to burden your installs with 13 x connies and 6 other ships!

Since this is the JJverse can ignore canon. After all the Farragut was a connie in the prime verse, TOS "Obsession" Kirk's first assignment.

Actually, I don't believe it was ever established that the Farragut was a Constitution-class.  In the novels and other apocrypha it is assume that the Farragut was a Constitution-class, but it's just as likely that it was an older class vessel. ;)
