Yeah I always feel like I am using the same superlatives over and over... :)
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
 Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

It may just be me but those close up shots you posted make the coloring look Enterprise-Bish to me.  That doesn't stop it from looking fantastic however.

Thanks guys. Actually a prefer Barry. I only use baz in my handle because it is shorter. As for the colour the Excelsior has a darker blue colour scheme than the duck egg blue of the Ent-B. also the hull patterns are different trust me this one is right.

and with tiq having a similar name, it makes it easier to use nicks.

meanwhile, back at the ranch, I've been doing some stuff for Hobbs on the side as well.

trust me this one is right.

Two things are not:

1) The saucer dorsal gridding should be pushed to the right by half a segment radius, the NCC/NX Excels have it that way, the Ent-B/Lakota have it as you did. And I can't exactly get out if the yellow paneling is asymmetrical or not left/right (it should be).

2) The nacelle top blue do not glow, ever, on any of them.

you are right,

the TMP / TNG excelsiors never had glowing warpnacelles.

however, the ds9 versions did had glowing nacelles.

Taken Adonis's comments on board and roated the dorsal grid and got rid of the engine glows.
I've also shrunk the airlock hatches top and bottom of the saucer and added all the pendants and regs.

She is now 99.9% done. Only have to add the phaser balls to the array and I'm going to export for scripting.
Here are some nice big beauty shot to show her off.

Gorgeous Baz. My only thing, the plasma manifolds (blue-glowy things on warp nacelles), are supposed to look like a dark grey, whereas in your screenshots they look black. I don't know if that's due to your lighting scheme in the screenshots, or not. Otherwise, looks gorgeous.

Decided to try something new. I have made my first ship with ID mapping.

The family has extended to add the Hood and the Repulse.
