This is roughly based on a painting from star trek phase 2 concept art.
Ah, cool!! I've loved that base from the first time I laid eyes on it.

I've made "re-imagined" Kelvin's so I thought I'd take a crack at the original.

The deflector should be in the hell and with that neck, I think it should be more curved.

Liking the original Kelvin as well! :D

Hmm, that would be a challenge and a high poly count. Building something as big as the Naranda will be a pain in game, trust me. Vger is almost ready for release and does not exactly turn on a dime.

Because it was never refitted with Borg Tech, unless you can point to the scene on screen that they say that.

Looking good Baz mate. Have a cookie.

indeed he has. that is the only thing that made Kirks ego feel itself small..  and now it will simply dwarf nearly anything that has been modded into the game. hm, maybe I should load that Executor and see how bad it is..

Wouldn't the narada be considerably smaller than v'ger though? You could fly a whole fleet into that thing and still have room to spare!

Though I'm not a moderator, I would say keep the ship size comparisons to a minimal, because Baz1701 hasn't shown anything in a while, and try not to get the thread offtopic.

For V'ger, yes Baz1701 has built one, a good one, and you can fly the Enterprise inside it.

Maybe you should read the graphic-novel "Countdown". As it's canon. ;)

Perhaps I should direct you to a thread on this forum that has proof that its not canon. :P Honest, its there.

I think the Narada is gonna be a tough job for anyone having a stab at it. It really is a monstrosity. :D

sry for going offtopc now ;)

It's written by Orci and Kurtzman and distributed as official prequel to the movie.
So it's not "canon" in the original way, but it's the very first "official" book/graphc-novel out there.
Alot of "canon" things aren't making sense or are contradictorily. But the events stated in "Countdown" do make sense.
:D

sry, again. back to topic now xD

-Edit: Okay, I'm sorry. I just read an interview where Orci stated that he wanted it to be canon but rather leaves those events to fan-fiction.
Still, I think the "Narada" shown in "Countdown" should be created by someone. Maybe I'll do it. ;)

*faints* You're actually gonna have a stab at it? YAY!

...

Sorry, immature lol. But the Narada does have an animalistic prettiness to it. How many polies?

Very nice. Is there any way to make the Narada look less blocky?

Took me 5 minutes to build as a reference, will replace all of it as I go.
