Working on the wing fins. Wings are place holders and not the final product.

Had an couple of ideas regarding the BoP.

As well as the traditioanl one how about two variants. First one will be one with no weapons purly a civilian transport.

The second would be a retexture to make it match the Kronos 1, grey in colour with bling. This would be a Imperial escort ship for Kronos 1.

Thoughts?

Chang's BoP was an escort to Qu'NoS Wa and it didn't look any different.  Then again, it didn't do a good job escorting it either. :P

No Chang's BoP was not supposed to be there. The Klingons believed the Enterprise fired on Kronos 1.

Though I do not want my thread to become a open floor debate about this. The Imperial escort was only used after the events in ST VI

I didn't mean it literally, twas all a joke. :P

On a serious note, BoP is looking excellent.  Though, I am somewhat skeptical of a civilian BoP.  Perhaps a pirate BoP instead?

Personally I doubt the Klingons would build a ship with no weapons on it. They never know if they will be going into battle and would always be prepared.
I like the idea of the retexture, though it could also be a ship for a council member as well. Someone of high importance enough to have their own ship in the same way the Chancellor does with Kronos 1.

Why is it the first thing that came to my mind when you mentioned that was a pimped out BoP with chrome, neons, and hydraulics? Maybe that could be your civvie BoP.

(anyway, sorry for going off topic, but I couldn't get that thought out of my head without typing it)

are you texturing on or modeling on the Bop wing deco?

Just don't forget the little fins on the hull that extend slightly downwards.  Not visible in attack mode because they're flush with the wings, but the other configurations, they're quite visible.
