He will. Just like me, it gets a bit tiring to work on the same thing so I start working on another ship, and get back to it later. Be patient. :)

Definitely looking better, but if I may make a suggestion?  Make the aztecing on the hull less pronounced in the standard textures and use the specular maps to bring them out, ala DJ's Galaxy and Wiley's JJPrise.

Just want to point out this jjrefit update was not prompted by the update request, though thanks for the encouragement for this project.

Here is the saucer. Not the forward docking port. I see from the film the ships all seem to be dock to the spacedock via a forward airlock though none are present on the ship?

Out of curiosity, why a square dock when all of the others on the ship are circular?

For once the extra large font actually makes it look good. :D I don't suppose you could quickly whip up a similar one with smaller font just so we can get a good idea of what it would look like?

To Kirk: I just thought, isn't that the cargo bay doors? Like the ones that are meant to be on the left side of the saucer?

Like most textures on this ship the saucer is an edit of my TMP Connie I recently released.

I have moved the main docking port (square one) from the portside saucer to the front.

Likewise the reg is un-altered to the TMP ship, but when I get home (do not have the blank texture here) I will shrink the texts. But for the final ship it will be as seen in these pics.

The forward hatch is open to debate on if I keep it or not. It was a practical desicion if not artistic.

Is there a possibility of having textures for a USS Discovery, NCC-1998 on the refit?

Sure that can be arranged. Is this for your project in the graphic arts forum?

Baz: you might wana change the registry font.  the JJverse probably wont use the original Geneverse fonts.  i never got a look at the reg's on the big screen (i got in late, and the place was stuffed), and it was pretty damn dark on the film itself.

This is also a TMP JJ refit so its probably more like the font seen on TMP ships onwards.

I'm with Dalek on the font. I will be using the TMP font for it.

Since you missed the hull reg in the film here is a screen cap during the Enterprise reveal

You can use it either way just curious.

Because the TMP version had both Circular airlocks and square...

*chuckle* that means the graphics were allready Jumped to a minimum of the TMP era.  funny thing is, neither you nor Wiley (in the versions I have) used it.  i THINK it's on the Kelvin A, though.

The JJ Tos reg font is similar to TMP but there are differences
