you can probably save a few polys by giving it an opaque face plate instead of modeling the head.

I'm having a break for modeling to make a small film.

I am building a small fighter to attack my hero ships.

it is not finished yet but if anyone wants to script and HP it I'll convert it to nif when I'm done.

I call it a jackel fight and is a pact hunter

Thanks when I have it finalised I'll send you the NIF and texture (it is mapped to one 1024x1024 TGA).

As for the klingon cruiser I'll take a look but have other things to finish first.

Anyway, back on topic, nice stuff Baz, I hope I can find BC before too long, I can't wait to pit a joint Klingon/Starfleet offensive against the Narada!

That's an excellent start!  Dunno what references you're using per se, but madman1701 over at SciFiMeshes used the Art of the Film book and shots from the movie and came up with this: http://www.madshipyard.com/images/Ships/Warbird_Orthos_1680.jpg Maybe this can help?  Either way, it'll be good to have a ship that the Enterprise can go up against alone.
