Miranda basicly done just the extra support behind the pylons needed.

Here are my plans for this one.

Miranda TMP - USS Reliant & USS Sarratoga NCC-1867

Miranda TNG - USS Sarratoga NCC-31911 (With out roll bar and with side pods) & USS Miranda NCC-1800 (As TMP but with TNG engine glows)

Bonus ship Soyuz class USS Bozeman

Much better now. What about those two things at the end of those red lines near the end of the saucer section? (btw what are those? Deflectors?). Sorry baz dont want to stress you :angel

those are long range sensor arrays, the Miranda doesn't have a traditional deflector dish

The Mirandas look awesome Baz, I jsut have one nitpick, I'm not sure if torpedo tubes were square shaped... I think they were rectangular

I have started the Saratoga, have the roll bar cut off just need to build the weapons pods and re-texture.

Someone asked a while back what the poly count is, well the Reliant is a tad over 20k

Yes, I think so, logically, if they [starfleet] are going to have a ship, between eras , engine , weapons, shields, get upgraded first. Know not quite TNG but those would probably upgraded first.

They are looking great. There is one thing bugging me though, the red squares around the saucer. From what I can tell on pics of the studio model, the Reliant doesn't actually have them. May just be me though as the pics I was loooking at aren't the best quality. If you do kep them though, the allignment of them seems off. The ones at the front partly overlap the deflector grid lines while the ones further back don't. It's almost as if they are set up in a circle pattern but the circle is off-center to the saucer if you can understand what I mean.

The texture is reused from the connie. I have check my ref and they are not present on the Reliant so the next go around they will vanish.

The are EVA hatchs seen used in TMP.
