Model in the ones at the top front of the sec hull too those are more protruded that you could do with textures.
Easy is the path to wisdom for those not blinded by themselves.

She indeed is pretty.. I've been talking with Tiq about the torp launcher glow.. he could make it so that it's permanent, and I have to say that the ship looks nude without them. What is your take on it?

agreed.  you forgot an essential part of the D's and K'Tinga.  this ship looks lovely even on MY old crappy monitor, and I can't wait to see the Quo'Nos 1 version.

I'd also like to nominate this lovely for inclusion in a KM update AND Excalibur.

By placeing a steady lite, there is to much bleed thu. If that is not a bother I can be done, but Personally I dont like it. I can live with it without the RED. Besides it only comes up just before, they fire.

I say don't add the red.  Like tiqhud just said, it only shows up when the launchers are about to fire anyways.

I have to say this reminds of LINTS work. 
I don't know what it is maybe it's texturing combine with greebling but that wing detail looks somewhat bland.  I guess this is why textures are preferred but can't the wings be painted to remove that effect that makes it look like a pointed toy instead of detailed space ship? Maybe it's just me.  On the one hand I love the model detail but it doesn't seem to be having the awesome effect in game as textures doing the same job would...strange.

Possibly some of the new glows that Cord came up with? Those should work...
