It's just texture alignment.  That can easily be adjusted in the UVW edit window.

Done a little uv tweak and for the hell of it rebuilt the phaser strip.

that's a nice idea as an alternative texture option, like you did for your TMP 1701, if you have time.

A powered down texture set will be easy to do.
