Will you be adding the Torpedo and Phaser strips which Starfleet added?

Very good, you're right.  The outer Docking ring is level with the other rings in this rendition.
It's supposed to be below the the habitat ring's elevation.  Considerably lower.  That of course means that the pylons attaching the rings together slant down to the Docking Ring.

I got the DS9 Technical manual this morning and I can now see exactly what you mean by this. There is a big side view/partial cutaway at the back of the book where you can see the difference in the placement of the habitat ring and the docking ring. The slope between the 2 rings is clearly visible in the image as well.
If you go to this page http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/scans/cardassians1.htm and scroll down to the DS9 schematics there is a decent side view one which shows this as well.
As far as I can tell now that is the only main difference between the show model and your mesh Baz. The newly revised docking ring looks great.

Wow i did not know that!

I didn't know either, it's only because Saquist pointed it out that I actually checked. The best pic I can find of the actual studio model that shows this is on this page http://www.starshipmodeler.com/trek/ds9tech.htm
It's 'Image 6: Closer look' under the DS9 pics. I would direct link to the pic but I don't want to hotlink to it direct.

Star Trek Quad-nacelle fanboy Extraordinaire

StarFleet Research and Development Crash Test Dummie/Test pilot

"Beyond the rim of the star-light
My love
Is wand'ring in star-flight
I know
He'll find in star-clustered reaches
Love,
Strange love a star woman teaches.
I know
His journey ends never
His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea
Remember, remember me."

Ok I calling the modeling phase over. Final poly count 51K

Runabout ports are in but still have to figure the MVAM out later.
