Nice work, but the deflector is the wrong shape, and the neck sensor/lauchers are too high.

I have been playing with the aztec / spec patterns not easy since the station is matt paint finish.

done some revamping on the Excel. Re-profiled the impusle engines, slanted the greebles around the bridge section,  deleted the neck and removed the deflector ready for a new one to be cut in.

Baz, what schems are you using for the Excel? I ask because most of them have the sec hull, impulse housing and nacelle length wrong (They're too long).

I've looked at several sources, and moslty trying reverse engineer the studio model.

Found some nice refs yesterday showing the model unaltered in profile so will line mine up to this one.

If anyone has a better set of plans I'll be happy to look and use them.

wonder if they based the Plastic model on the studio one; i have an ussamebled excell floating around.

btw, what was wrong with the deflector dish...i could spot the torp goofs, but not the deflector's

Was not really happy with the hull base texture so scraped the old one and started a fresh. Much happier with it now and the pylons are done.
