No fear everything is back up this time around

Some spec and lighting tests. I have also added a blue hue to the hull colour.

Only suggestion I have is with the fins on the engines, making the textures hide the fact that they pop up a little better.

ooo pretty. Glad you haven't gone overly blue with the hull colour, nice and subtle.
Tobias's can look a little too dark grey/blue sometimes; I'd say yours is pretty spot on :D

The colour in the nacelle 'vents' looks perfect :)

Don't know if you've finished them yet, but the blue strip lights under the nacelle hoods(?) should be brighter blue, leaning towards white, with some light spread down the adjacent surface. The same 'near-white' blue is used for just about all of the exposed light strips judging by screenshots (along the 'spine' on the top of the saucer, behind the deflector, nacelle hoods + opened fins etc).

I think the colors of the lights under the cowl are fine, though it looks like you have three small lines at the very back instead of the one bigger line.  Only a nitpick.

Got the warp drive parts sorted out. This will use warp warp up to texture swap and ftech to open the fins.

Looks really good, but I do have a few suggestions regarding the bussards.  Mostly I think it should be a deeper shade of blue and there should be a spot in the very center that's white/blue.

To show what I mean.

The deflector looks good as well since it's a texture, not a model change.  But two deflectors would be overkill.

Really can't wait to see the final result.

EDIT: Removed large pic and linked instead, also have a cookie.

The video is the bussard at warp. I will look at adding the glow in the middle.

That pic shows exactly what I was trying (and likely failing) to describe about the lights under the edge of the 'hoods'

Baz, that video is hypnotic lol!

Just looking at that front angle, don't forget the intake/vents/black bits (?) on the front edge of the fins

I'm sure he's getting there.

Baz, that picture also shows what I meant about there being a pattern on the outside part of the collector.  Not sure if that can work with a transparency or not in BC though.

I won't be able to add the grid pattern for BC the lines are too fine to show up. Likewise not sure the glows from the spot lights. The bussard light source is behind the fan and you cannot use the _glow prefix on a animated texture. Hopefully this will be fixed in Excalibur.

baz i know this will be all wrong lol but is it possible to use the material settings in Nifscope to create the glow you said cant be used on the animated textures.
:idk: just an idea (probably wrong)
