Kinda disappointed we get the "bird-of-prey" and not the battlecruiser/"warbird", but look pretty neat, and glad that we get the Vengeance too!  Now if only Hasbro or Diamond Select would release a GOOD NuEnterprise.

I'm surprised we're getting more refs.  It's been 4 years and we still don't have nearly this much reference material for the Enterprise.  You were doing pretty darn good considering you were going from a few images and memory.  Now it looks even better.

Also...the Vengeance seems to be missing a name and registry.  Kinda odd.

If the ship is meant to be a stealthy dreadnought, slapping names, numbers, and Starfleet pennants on it doesn't help a lot.

Personally, I think it loses all claims to "stealth" by being twice as long as the Federation flagship.

I disagree.

From what we've seen of her, the hull is decidedly darker (possibly using different hull materials). We also don't know what kind of onboard techs there are. "Mask Energy Signature" / "Mask Warp Signature" has been used in the past to disguise a ship from sensors. Not to mention, possible cloaking tech (unknown).

Size is not as big a factor of stealth in space.  When you're a billion kilometers away, light reflectivity is what matters.

It isn't even referred to as USS Vengence/Vengence in the movie, just Dreadnought Class and "unmarked ship".

DST, sadly, don't have the licence for the new stuff. Though even if they did, by time they got a ship out the franchise would be in the middle of another reboot. :p
