"exia"? As in the new gundam show?

Ship is different, that's for sure. Will there be a U.S.S Wildgoose?  :funny

By popular demand, Star Fleet R&D is proud to present the Sydeny Class Transport. You may remember the U.S.S. Jenolen NCC-2010  that help the Enterprise-D escape from the Dycen spere's interior, but the Jenolen was destroyed in the process in TNG "Relics". This is still in the modeling phase. Enjoy.

Don't forget that it's correctly spelled Jenolan, after the Jenolan caves in Australia. Now we'll need that Dyson sphere map working correctly too...pay close attention to the Sydney's nose, most schems have it completely wrong.

The cut-in part of the nose needs to be wider. Look at pictures of the studio model on Ex-Astris. Most schematics screw that part up.

I'm working of this studio model found here http://www.neutralzone.de/database/Federation/StarFleet/Sydney05.htm. Not to worry, there is still a lot to do on her. I jest wanted to get the cut out good, the next thing is to widen it out, fix the pylons, then add the phasers and some of the detail in the cut out part. I do want to put a TMP style deflector in the fount. It has none probably because it was jest a kit bash to save money and you really don't get any good shots of her front in any show. All warp ships have some sort of deflector.

Strictly speaking, that's not totally true.  The Reliant didn't have a prominent deflector array. ;)  The deflector isn't necessarily a dish, after all.

The Oberth for example has it concealed at the front end of the pod, behind the outer hull.

BTW, disregard the Nash in DS9 being an upside-down version of the Jenolan. That was an error (since the docking scenes of the Nash where reuses in all further eps).
