BC Videos at YouTube
« on: September 23, 2009, 07:54:33 PM »
I've been working on a couple of videos showcasing the USS Kelvin from Star Trek XI. Let me know what you think.

The first is titled "Before the Storm"

The second is simply "Star Trek Kelvin" but is a rough cut of an eventual "final" version

This last one is just some home video of the Space Shuttle Discovery on its way home from it's landing at Edward's AFB to the Cape in Florida. She made a stop at the Rick Husband International Airport in my hometown, Amarillo.

Let me know what you think.

the top vid is disabled, and the Discovery is in severe need of a wash *looks for a wash me somewhere on the engine cowl*

epic music in the kelvin one.  make a good general theme for a series after the Courage TOS sting.

best line I've ever read
Me: mine [my bridges] would probably be simple to get the characters to use.  the only person that sits is the captian.
Baz: space is vast there[sic] legs will be tired by the time they get to the next planet

oops. I think I've fixed the embedding on the first one.

The shuttle is after it's mission. Re-entry makes it look dirty because of the intense heat.

never knew the Kelvin had that cool skinny-strip impulse grate.  course, I'm working off a bone stock in the motherboard graphics card.

great videos  :)

But hey, this is a good idea. what about a BC youtube threat?

I also made some high resolution BC videos and uploaded them:

&feature=channel_page

First: some battles with the Galaxy Class Enterprise D

&feature=channel_page

Second: An thrilling battle with the Defiant against a Dominion battleship

&feature=channel_page

Third: A classical BORG attack video

PS: Would be very nice to see a list of good BC videos in a threat like "Post Your Best BC Screenshots Here!" threat

I agree. Hey moderators, can we sticky this thread for that purpose?

Seconded

wish someone would do those kinds of vids with MY ship.  I'd love to see if the Vasers looked smooth enough.

This is the only BC video I've made before DJ made his awesome Galaxy class'. I just made it as a test on my old rig when I first got Fraps.

&feature=channel_page

My love

I know
He'll find in star-clustered reaches
Love,
Strange love a star woman teaches.
I know
His journey ends never
His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea
Remember, remember me."

Sure I am... just need to get off my lazy a** before I do.

and it's thread not threat for future reference.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.
