I actually havent seen those screencaps, id love for someone to post some links.

Ok, I am taking a chance here and made some changes. I found the details, after viewing shots of both the TMP and TNG klingons, and decided to do two things...

1) Reduce some of the detail, washing it out a bit. That way detail slips away at a distance.
2) Change the hue....yet again...dangerous, I know. I am still trying to find the right combination of hue, details and the like. I think I am getting close.

I washed in a few colors I noted on the TMP Ktinga, including some of the tans and darker hues. I still need to work it out a bit, get the right harmony here and there, but you get the idea sofar.

Yea, I really want it to remind people of the TMP Ktinga....not an exact pattern, but similar color patterns. The entire texture set and colors will probably change with the TNG version.

Ok, more changes, tweaks and some progress.

I still have some details to add to the dorsal hull, then I will move on to the ventral hull. Note the overall washed out look of the textures, important for the TMP/TNG version. The NE version will have much darker textures like the E-7 probably.

I think next to your 'futuristic bird of prey', this is my favorite design by you. Oh, also barring that awesome federation marine corps ship you had going on for a while there too. that was pretty dope.

Here is an overall shot sofar. Still working on some fill-ins, almost done with the dorsal hull.

Note that this ship, like the E-7, will have house panels you can apply so you can choose the house you want to display, or make your own.

I based the house plate I made on one of my own Next G fanworks involving Q, a were species, and the Kzin! I think I scared the kitties a bit

i went over it lately, and I think it looks terrible.
