Move to Northern Ireland, we never have hosepipe bans!

The UK weather is so messed up, I've had the heating on during the day and it is the middle of May!!!!!!

As far as I know it's only the south east of England that's got the bans in force.

Well, the snow is gone but it's still cold here. Temp is single digit on the C scale. And we have officially the coldest summer in 84 years.

Fastest Warming U.S. States
_{A new report from Climate Central, a research and public outreach program, says global warming is causing some states to heat up faster than others.

The group analyzed temperature increased over the past 100 years and highlighted the ten states that saw the highest temperature increase.

Climate Central suggests the warming is caused partly by natural climate changes and atmospheric aerosoles (which block solar radiation).

Scientists say the pace of warming increased dramatically in the 1970's. That mirrors the time frame when the effect of greenhouse gases began to become widespread.}

Rhode Island is listed as the fastest warming state in the US according to this report, a .339 degree (Fahrenheit) increase each decade since 1912...

Most of those areas on the East Coast that are warmer are heavily urbanized. If you think about it, most of Rhode Island is a city, so as a state it's no wonder why it's heating up so much.
