naming a ship

Hello,

 I am curious to know if anyone knows how do you name a ship? i recently downloaded the re theseus class to bridgecommander, and i am very fond of that ship, and i would like to name a ship of that class to USS Proteus Ncc-741825, is there a tutorial or a thread on here that i can read on how to do this?.
