Modifying MR JOHN's Klingon Shuttle HP

I'm currently modifying the disruptors on the Klingon Shuttle, which are insanely overpowered. However, no matter how much I lower the disruptors max. damage settings, they still remain too strong. I even halved the max damage, and it still took out ships with only a couple of hits. Is something else I can do to make it weapons weaker.

are they pulse weapons?  if so, the max damage isnt defined in the hp, but the projectile itself...

Are you modifying the values in the hardpoint or the projectile script?

I've been modifying the hardpoint. So I see that I need to modify the projectile script, thanks for the info.
