Adv Tech Breen weapon
« on: April 08, 2010, 03:23:26 PM »
I cannot seem to get this weapon to work on the torpedo I have ascribed it to. The launch sound is DrainerWeapon and the ships I am shooting at are NOT immune to it... yet it doesnt seem to be working.

Your thread title says Adv Tech, are you using the Breen Drainer from FTech or ATP?

Can you post the torpedo and the launch sound you're trying to apply to it? Thanks.

Please don't use ATP as it's considered outdated.

Many mods are incompatible with it.

So what do you  recommend I switch to?

FTech or as a part of Foundation 2008

BCUT as of 1.7 can also automatically add FTech Torpedo techs to torpedoes including the Breen Damper tech.

It shouldn't at all unless someone really screwed something up. But then BSOD's are easy to fix.

My suggestion to you is just DL KM Beta and mess around with the ships, scripts and HPs there... If you don't plan to use MP then it's really free game (to do what you want with it).

That might happen in NFX2.0 is not installed.

If you get a BSOD, it's very easy to fix. Of course provided that you post a console report.
