Not particularly, there's a model for it in Freelancer.  And unlike the Narada, the Ragnarok is symmetrical.

actually looking at the ragnarok it wouldnt be too hard, i mean it would be a challange, but since its a symmetrical ship, its not too hard, also a close second favourite ship of mine is FFX-2's celsius airship though it isnt an space faring ship, im sure theyre wizz-kid Shinra(any FF fan will get the name reference here) will find a way for it to fly in space

I'd say since Final Fantasy 6 introduced technology in the form of Magitek Armor.  Sure it's basic tech compared to, say, a starship, but I think it qualifies.  That and it seems like each Final Fantasy gets further into the sci-fi and less into actual fantasy.
