Me: mine [my bridges] would probably be simple to get the characters to use.  the only person that sits is the captian.
Baz: space is vast there[sic] legs will be tired by the time they get to the next planet

So, Daystar. When are we gonna see that sexy Angelina-Vulcan on a bridge in BC?

As soon as i figure out DDS file editing lol. i edit the files, i have a program to that can make faces in any 3d program, celebs, real, used it a lot, its called faceshop pro, problem is, DDS editing has become a nightmare for me to see where im messing up. i can open them, i have the plug in, its saving them and having them readable or "lined up"correct thats killing me. Most 3d programs use a much easier texture map..in poser/daz if you yanked up a models texture you can edit over the old and easily see where everything lines up..DDS uses some crazy box like crap that is confusing me to no end. For every tuturiol i think i get, i take three steps forward, five steps back

ok now that i am back from work, i see the sarah michelles legs are not right. to big scaled. shes also skinnier than the waist here..it was a fast throw together i can do better.

I was bored so i did a quick my version of that uniform.
Sarah michelle gellar is a tiny gal, about 5'2 or so i believe, assuming the man was around 5'11-6'0 this was a guess at height scale.

The man is 6ft tall, I should know it is my head!

Stealing a man's head? That's just not right! lol

Another new layout, what do you guys think? Better/worse than the previous ones?

Cool stuff

Timeline? Are there "classes", such as "Class A" for Starship Duty, "Class B" for Starbase/Trade Station/Shipyard, etc.?

Actually was planning on doing that, with different uniforms for starship and station/planetside personnel. They did it in TMP and I think they were going for it when DS9 started, until the designers for Generations and Voyager decided to use the DS9 uniforms.

I'm personally shooting for beginning of the 25th century or so.

I'm in the early stages of writing a future episode of my fanfic, which involves an altered timeline where the Dominion war continued in 2383, so I designed a set of more militarized FC uniforms to go with it.  The idea was that while most things wouldn't change, there would be some technological advances in certain areas, and some aspects would become more utilitarian.

Im a great fan of this concept.

A question: Would'n it be nice that uniforms are a little more task-specific?

Say for command officers this layout is very nice. But would'n it be a good idea to add some armor for Security and Engeneering, as theese people are expected to put themselves in harms way more often than command and Science. Im not talking about a combat suit or anything, but the concept from the hasard team in EF would be a good start.
Then Science could have a basic tircorder on their arm or somthing.

Just an idea.

This is pretty much a standard duty uniform for all divisions. However, I'm a big fan of the "engineer's work suit" kind of thing. We saw it in FC where Geordi had the duty uniform with shorter sleeves. I think a more protective suit like the ones in TWOK are in order. Thing is, you can have standard uniforms and variants, like in TMP. Regular militaries tend to have 3-4 variations for standard personnel, so why not Starfleet?

Here's a Marine Dress uniform design I put together by combining a starfleet uniform with elements of the modern Marine Dress:
