I'd say my PC is "decent", but a 512MB GT220 shouldn't be able to play that kind of graphics quality for more than a minute or so before slowing down.

Note, this is EVE online, all settings to max, aside from bloom, HDR and AA (I use 4x for that)

yeah it's not just your gfx card... it's the whole deal.
and what you said about Bloom, HDR, and AA is actually a big deal.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

it may be a bit late but a NVIDIA GeForce FX5200 seems a good choice, it runs on the old PCI interface, but from what ive seen and heard it should last around 6 years, the only drawback is that it only has 256MB of onboard ram, but its still a decent little card, if your mobo doesnt have an old PCI slot, then go for a more up to date one. and BTW, if getting the FX 5200, make sure you PCI slot loos like the one in the image attached.
