To put up a poll just click on the "New Poll" option at the top of the page...it should let you type in your options for the poll :)

K-7 btw!

Well, I'm not happy with the impulse houseing area, BUT i have an idea on what i might do, the main hull needs to be more polys so i'll redo that too, i like the pylon style think it works, but alas the only bit I'm 100% happy with is of course my Nacelles and Saucer section, But meh. here she is the top of the vote's at the moment, the TOS Excelsior Concept - WIP Suggestions people!!!

if I might make a suggestion about the Excelsior, the Saucer section looks too much like the regular version, No offense, but it looks like you slapped TOS engines and a TOS deflector on an Excelsior model.  I suggest that you change the saucer to look more like the Constitution style saucer, or maybe something like the Federation class saucer, since it is a bigger ship.

Indeed. it needs to look more brick-like and clumsy like original Connie.

I just caught this (stupid "no updated posts" thingy), and I agree about the saucer.  I also think the e-hull should be "TOSiffied" a bit more as well.

someone suggested using the federation class saucer, which reminded me of my own "chandler" class heavy scout for TOS

also, you might want to look at the "garth" for inspiration (and JUST inspiration)

I would simply invert the trailing edge of the saucer so it is the same angle as the connie's and then put a connie style bridge module on it

K7 looks great and the excelsior is coming along nicely.

Only nitpik is not sure the TOS connie nacelles suits the excelsior design since it is a bigger ship perhaps keep the basic look but with some slight alterations like a beefed up design rather than a simple up scale of the connies engines.
