ok i wont lie to u guys i want to keep the saucer as it is as then the REAL excelsior would be a refit like the connie *yes i know they changed the saucer too, but this would be late in TOS era so they would be at the PEAK of their techonology standards there, i deffo wanna change the impulse housing more and nacelles I'm after as much imput as posible, this is what i came up with today messing around

Looks good so far, but that impulse drive housing is too fat i think and the bridge dome is very tiny compared to the rest (maybe thats the angle).

Baz's nacelle looks good. You could maybe try just inverting the lip on the saucer to give it a more TOS look.
