Wow, what an eye for textures! The Exeter and especially the Venetta were both exquisitely textured. This is even better.

Looks like an offshoot to the Durandel Class Blockade Runner that just popped up on JoAt. Can't wait to see the finished product!

She's actually supposed to be about the same size as the Sovereign class. I'll have Bones hardpoint her so that she's faster and better armed than WC's Nemesis Sovereign, but a bit weaker in hull and shields. Basically:
1 Inferno vs. 1 Sovereign - Inferno keeps firing on the Sovereign, Inferno wins.
2 Infernos vs. 2 Sovereigns - If the two Sovereigns focus on one Inferno, they'd be able to take it down, then they can focus on the other, and Sovereigns win.

wow Farshot your really doing my original design justice, though in the HP setup, id personally prefer that this ship be able take a punch and give one back, but the setup youve suggested so far sounds like an excelent basis for this, your dorsal and nacell designs are a masterpeice and i cant wait to see this baby in 3d! cookie for you my good sir!

EDIT: also im liking the concept of the whole nacell extension during warp speed, your brilliant at this, dont EVER stop!

I've decided to move this project here where it belongs, afterall it's FSB shipyards project right ?

this one for the change was built using schematics provided from deviantart and should be much more accurate than the first version

now it's texturing time

right, about the texturing, is there a way to UVW map two objects and then merge unwraps into one so I don't have two half empty maps ???
