From the second...I actually use these ships in Star Trek settings. The Hiigaran fleet is used for my Reydovan Empire, while the Vaygr represent Artimus Devaneaux, a Reydovan general seeking power for himself.

At least the four booster configuration looks cool.  My favorite fictional modern shuttle/space vehicle design is probably the Messiah from Deep Impact.
